It was cold, crisp and beautiful outside on this winter's day. There is a new road that is being built across our town and I travelled to an area where the construction is visible. Once the road is done and the sound barrier wall erected, this view will be gone. The vegetation will undoubtedly be affected as well.
It was incredible to watch the colors shift in the landscape. The ground cover becoming greener and more magenta as time went by. This view is coming to an end in the next few months, and I was glad to capture it on canvas before it was gone.

You really captured the feel of the sage blooming out after a drought. It was a privilige to see this myself before the earthmovers build that sound wall.
