An artist has to play. That is what today was all about. Experimentation, play, venturing out and doing something exciting and different.
Here was another Carlsbad day where I explored the "Flower Fields". Two little girls all dressed up in chiffon dresses were wandering around and sneaking into the flowers for their mom to take a photo. Well she wasn't the only one ready with a camera.
I had fun with this one just playing with the paint and the palette knife. I was so excited and happy in the process of doing this, it was over far too soon.
Different thoughts travel through your mind while you are working. My mind wandered back to being a little girl myself and being with my best friend Debbie. Somehow these girls were echoes of my past.
