Search in the Sand
The ache in my heart is so dull sometimes it is almost unpersceptable. As I reach towards real meaning in what I am creating I am striving to connect to something. Something I can relate a feeling to. Here I see a young boy with his grandmother and I think of the young and the old. How this was happening around me with my young son and my mom.
She is gone now and the generations that were able to touch each other are now over and we move on. Yet I am saddened and still pleased that they were able to meet, to touch. Life carries us as we search in the sand. The sweet sadness of times gone by and the renewal as I witness the scene through another family.
The young and the old still reach towards each other as time pushes to separate them.
