Some faces are so compelling. I found this true with this young model that I have worked with in the past.
My recent workshop with Rose Frantzen has found its influence in my work. I love working between the transparent and opaque pigments while gently molding the forms of her face.
I feel that I could never truly represent the beauty before my eyes, be it a landscape or a lovely model. God and nature are the only true masters. I do hope to reflect some of the beauty I see, but in truth it is an impossible task.
