To those of who loved this painting previously, my apologies. I made the selfish decision to keep going with this painting... going and going until every little bit was as I wanted.
Loner became a temporary obsession which compelled me to continue. I wanted more out of this piece. Loner held a special connection for me at this time when the hours for actual painting has been severely reduced. Circumstances beyond my control have consumed my world.
I reveled in every moment spent on this piece. I did not want it to end.
I found this painting to be my safe haven, a place to come back to, revisit, peruse with choice and discrimination. Even now I cannot stop looking at her. I feel I found something more in this one. A delicacy,
a slowing down of time where I took as long as I needed to get to where I wanted to go and ended up with exactly what I wanted to see.
Thank God. I want more, and soon.
