I have been out of touch for a while. Busy with family stuff and FINALLY made time to paint. If I didn't I was afraid I was going to explode. After a long drought like this I feel as if I am drinking at a cool fountain. I feel a sense of release after so long without painting as if I am being fed.
This image was one I caught at a garden in Carlsbad. I was lucky to catch this sight. I thought the brilliant reds were awesome and the rhythm of all the curves were intriguing. So here we have "A Crimson Glow" and I am so glad to be back at it.

It's an emphatic, beautiful painting that reflects how much you craved the feeling of painting!
Your art is looking great. Can't wait to see you and your work at your upcoming exhibit "Chasing Open Spaces."
